So, a while back, when trying to think of what we would like to do for music at our reception, I came up with the idea to play the song that all the important couples in our life think of as "their" song. For example, my mom and dad tell me that "their" song is Brown Eyed Girl; I also associate Eric Clapton's Wonderful Tonight with the two of them, so we're playing both.

If you think you'll be coming to the wedding, or even if you're not, we'd love to know what your song is. It doesn't have to apply strictly to couples, either. Allison and I have a song (Walkin' On Broken Glass by Annie Lennox), and I associate Bon Jovi's Always with my sister. Brandon and I are still trying to work out our song, or at least, the song that we will have for our first dance. We were talking about it the other night, and Brandon suggested, out of the blue, Once Upon A Dream; it's that song from Disney's Sleeping Beauty, and it's one of the random set of songs that stay in my head and pop out when I feel like singing. He and I have danced to it several times in our kitchen when I was in a singing kind of mood.

I was so flattered that he would suggest that for our song. Then I reminded him that he'd have to learn how to waltz.
