As some of you may know, Brandon and I have a trip to Santa Fe planned for mid June so that we can pick a location for our wedding ceremony and reception. We're leaving the afternoon of June 17th and returning the evening of June 21st. While we're there, we hope to see a bunch of sites, including some hotels, and our first choice for the ceremony: Holy Faith Episcopal church.

As for the reception, it's really hard to narrow down our choices! We've looked at some hotels online, but a lot will depend on how things feel when we see them in person. And you never know: we may see someplace wonderful when we're there that we never thought of before!

La Terraza at La Fonda Hotel - Scroll down to the bottom to see a great picture of the beautiful rooftop ballroom at La Fonda. It may be a smidge out of our price range, but it is lovely. Click the link for meetings and banquets at the top to see other rooms.

The Hilton of Santa Fe - The Hilton has a lot of history and that makes it appealing. Click the link for the Ortiz room to see our favorite.

The Raddison of Santa Fe - It's a little hard to tell from the pictures, but we think the Raddison ballroom might have a nice view of Santa Fe from it's perch atop the hills just outside the city.

La Posada de Santa Fe - La Posada is directly across the street from Holy Faith, which would certainly make it the most convenient place to hold the reception...

We have about eight to ten hotels to see in all. We've also been trying to think of restaurants and other places where we might hold the reception or the rehersal dinner. Anyone have any favorites they'd like to nominate?

We'll post our impressions and findings when we get back from our trip in about three weeks.
