PARIS!
It has been a very productive weekend! Not only did we get our photographer and wedding cake booked, we also got most of the music for the reception uploaded and...
(wait for it...)
BOOKED OUR TICKETS TO PARIS!!!!!!

Words cannot express how excited I am about that! I have been trying to go to France since I was a sophomore in high school. A lot of my friends went on a trip with our French teacher that year, but I couldn't afford to go. Then, my freshman year in college, my sister and I talked about going, but that didn't happen either. Finally, I started planning a trip with a friend after I graduated from college, but that money got put towards moving to California, and the trip once again got postponed.
NO MORE! The tickets are bought, and I get to experience Paris for the first time with the love of my life. Is there a better way? See? Everything happens for a reason.
The trip is for nine days, two devoted to travel, and seven full days in the city of lights. We haven't figured out where we're going to stay or any of that yet, but it is all secondary to buying those tickets. I think we got a really good deal too -- $550 per person. That's pretty good, isn't it?
I spent the weekend in Santa Clara with my darling friend and bridesmaid, Allison uploading music for the reception from her truly staggering CD collection. =D I am really excited about this. She has agreed to play DJ, but we plan to just run all of the music off my computer and/or iPod. Plus, Allison has excellent taste in music, so I can guarantee that it's going to be one hell of a party.
I had a great time in Santa Clara, too. If you want to see just how great, go and listen to the
Yeah. Just don't hold us responsible for anything that happens when you put the two of us together. ;c)
